Simple Recipe for Slow Cooker Pork Chops?

Question by ashlyrene2001: Simple Recipe for Slow Cooker Pork Chops?
I’ve got 6 pork chops that are frozen that i’d like to cook for supper. I don’t want to brown them in a pan and i’m running low on ingredients to add too. Does anyone have a simple, but, good recipe on how to cook these in the crock pot? I don’t have garlic cloves, brown sugar, marmalade, or much of anything similiar. I don’t think I even have creamed soups to add. I do have boil in a bag rice, but, I don’t know if that does well in the crock pot; doubtful. Ok, well, ready for options…thanks, in advance.

If you don’t have all of the ingredients suggested here…just put in whatever you have. Make sure you use a total of at least 1 cup of some kind of liquid.
How to do your Pork Chops Right – Starting Now in a Slow Cooker
So many times, and you know who I’m talking about, we all make a great pork chop and it’s just too rough to eat. If you do not have enough moisture while cooking the chops will feel like rubber when you eat them. I’m about to give you step by step instuctions that have your pork chops melting in your mouth and it starts and ends with your slow cooker.
If you can put the ingrediants into your slow cooker and sit down and relax, you can make this meal. Enjoy your family and friends while the slow cooker does all the work it was meant to do.

If you have a skillet, a bottle of ketchup, salt, some celery, ground nutmeg, vinegar and water, and 1 last bay leaf you’re ready to go.
6 to 8 pork chops, lightly browned in skillet
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/3 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/2 bay leaf
Place your pork chops in your slow cooker. Combine all the remaining ingredients and pour over chops. Cover and cook on low 2-3 hours, or until chops are tender. Remove the bay leaf before serving. Enjoy this is great eating.

Cook your rice in the bag and serve with the chops.
