Treatza Pizza
servings | 13
Estimated POINTS® value per serving | 3
Course | Desserts
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
3 tbsp reduced-calorie margarine
10 oz (1 bag) reg marshmallows or 4 cups mini marshmallows
2 cups strawberries, sliced
2 large kiwis, sliced
2 bananas, sliced
6 tbsp Cool Whip fat-free topping
Waxed paper and a pizza or cake tray are also necessary
Melt marshmallows and margarine in microwave on high for 3 minutes in microwave-safe bowl, stirring at halfway and until smooth.
Pour rice krispies cereal into the bowl and mix together with a large spoon.
Using a spatula, spread mixture onto a pizza tray or other baking tray. Use wax paper to cover and press it flat.
After it cools completely, spread cool whip layer on top. Arrange fruit slices decoratively across the treatza pizza and voila!
For better portion control, slice the treatza pizza before adding the toppings. This will ensure easy serving later while still allowing a nice presentation by covering the slices with toppings.

Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats
Yield: 24
This recipe is from one of my Weight Watcher’s cookbooks (gasp!) but really it’s just the basic Rice Krispie treat recipe with chocolate added. Whoever came up with this is a genius. Make sure you use the best quality chocolate you can find — it will make a difference.
2 TBSP unsalted butter
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped (I recommend Scharffen Berger)
1 7-oz. jar marshmallow cream
2 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder (I recommend Scharffen Berger or Ghirardelli)
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 cups Rice Krispies
1. Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
2. In a large (large!) sauce pan, melt the butter and chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly. Add the marsmallow cream, cocoa and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat.
3. Add the cereal and stir till well coated. (It’s a sticky mess, and I found that using two wooden spoons together helps distribute the goo evenly and with minimal frustration. Whatever you do, DO NOT TOUCH the goo with your hands. It’ll stick and drive you nuts.)
4. Spread the mixture with wooden spoons into pan. Press down evenly. Let cool 10 minutes, then cut and munch. Umm-umm!
