Peach cobbler or jambalaya. I am very proud of Southern heritage and I have some lovely fresh South Carolina peaches, but I think I have mastered my jambalaya recipe. It is a delicious Cajun dinner that isn’t as traditional as peach cobbler. However, it is an evening potluck and I think that people would appreciate dessert more than a second dinner.

What would you prefer at 7:30pm potluck–a dinner type dish or a summery dessert?

Well, if it’s not a dinner-specific potluck, I’d go with the dessert, esp. since you have outstanding fresh peaches. I guarantee you’ll have another chance to put that jambalaya out for people!!
