like dinnerware, small kitchen appliances, cookware, etc. Are there stores here similar to sears or macy’s?

There aren’t stores like sears or macy’s. The best place to shop for housewares is IKEA and Saco and in the supermarkets (Carrefour, Geant, al Othaim, HyperPanda, etc.). Also, if you have E Max, they have a lot of appliances, but they’re all 220V.

I guess you’re American. You have to be very careful here with the voltages of your appliances and your outlets. Make sure you test your outlets to see if they’re 110V or 220V. You can buy a voltage tester in Saco. You can buy a voltage adapter, but I’ve found that it’s just a pain and doesn’t work well at all. It’s better to just buy the correct voltage for what you have in your home. If you’re lucky, you’ll have both 110 and 220V outlets in your home.

Home Centre is decent for furniture, but I don’t like their selection of kitchenware. Honestly, I think Home Centre is overpriced for the quality on most things. Maybe if you buy on sale it’s good though.
