Question by Weesy: Where can I find casarecce, or similar pasta?
I have a recipe that I’m very anxious to try which calls for casarecce, which is a very thick, flat noodle (about 3/4″ from what I understand). I have a limited income and live in an economically challenged area, so I can’t really go to an Italian specialty shop and spend $ 20 on some.
Does anyone know where I can buy some cheap or what pasta I could use instead with about the same thickness (thicker than fettucine)?

Do you have a Big Lots near you? Strangely I find a large selection of things I am looking for in their food section!
