I’ve been having a lot of trouble getting my skin under control. It’s frequently broken out, red, blotchy, flaky, and dry. I feel like these problems should be long gone (I’m 19 now) but I’m still dealing. Currently I use a normal salicylic acid face wash and Korres brand cinnamon and natural clay mask as a spot treatment at night. I like using natural products more because my skin is so sensitive and always dry, so I don’t anything that could possibly dry it more. I’ve been doing a bit of research and I’ve read that the tea tree oil product line from the Body Shop comes highly recommended as well as Lush facial products. I want something natural and not too pricey. I just want to get my skin under control again.

Also, other than having found the right skincare products, I do everything I can for my skin. I drink tons of water and fruit juices, I eat mostly organic products free of corn syrup and excess sugar, I don’t drink soda, really, I don’t eat any kind of junk food. Lots of fruits and veggies.

I just need to find the right products. Any suggestions or advice would be great from anyone. I’d really appreciate your help!

i read that you can exfoliate your face with the mixture of white granulated sugar with water for extra dry skin. splash your face with apple cider it is suppose to restore ph balance. also once a week message face with honey, lemon juiceand oatmeal. i use to once a month use eggs and milk to clean my face and it worked. of course every ones skin is different so good luck on finding something that will work. an honey by itself seems to work all over the body to keep it moisterized.
