Frozen Yoghurt Machine for xmas?

I just want a simple frozen yogurt machine for xmas, but I don’t know what I need to do that! I would really appreciate some info and advice for this. Also what machine would I need? Preferably sub £200. Im 11 yrs old and need to research on this before my mum lets me get it for xmas. Thx soso much!

I’m pretty sure that there aren’t machines for making only “frozen yogurt”…but all “ice cream makers” will make frozen yogurt, as well as making ice cream, sorbets, etc.).

Ice cream makers do come as electric machines and manual machines though, and some still require ice and salt to be used around the milk/yogurt/etc while it’s initially setting (some of those are cranked by hand, and some electrically).

Some have a double-insulated metal container that’s put into the freezer a few hours before loading with milk/yogurt/whatever and putting into the actual machine… those are easier to use for a lot of people.
I purchased a pretty nice one of that type (a Cuisinart ICE-20) at Walmart (a large inexpensive store that sells all kinds of things in the U.S.) a few years ago for about $ 50 so your £200 should definitely be enough, I’d think.

(Btw, to make “frozen yogurt” you’ll need to either buy yogurt at the store or make it yourself to use in the ice cream maker… the ice cream maker won’t make the yogurt too.)
